Your educator will be Jeanne Healey

Jeanne is an Independent Educator for SVP. As a child, she started sewing with her mother, a Home Economics teacher. The garments she made won numerous awards in both 4-H and the National Wool Competitions. Her enjoyment for fabrics led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Textile Science from Purdue University. Utilizing her degree, she has worked at a yarn dyeing factory and as a Textile and Coatings Application Chemist for Ciba Specialty Chemicals.

After using her mother’s embroidery machine and the associated embroidery software, Jeanne started to pursue her new passion, machine embroidery. This passion expanded to include quilting, machine…
